Super duplex ASTM A789/ASME SA789 UNS S32750 (2507) is a variant stainless steel alloy that is primarily used in the oil and gas industry, particularly for offshore platforms, heat exchangers, structural components, and architectural components. Along with very high tensile and yield strength ratings, UNS S32750 pipe resists stress corrosion cracking extremely well and is pitting resistant, highly weldable, and very versatile.

Super duplex stainless steel UNS S32750 is regarded as a super duplex stainless steel. The steel combines high mechanical strength (typically up to 570 MPa yield strength) and good ductility with outstanding corrosion resistance in marine environments. The alloy is supplied with a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent) at >=40.0 which guarantees high resistance to pit corrosion. In addition, the duplex steel tube made of S32750 duplex stainless steel offers high resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Ambient and sub-zero (down to minus 50°C) notch ductility is good.
